Bodidharma (I) Indian monk who spread Buddhism and developed Shaolin Ch'uan Fa in 525 A.D.
Dojo (J) Studio or school.
Dojang (K) Studio or school.
Kempo or Kenpo Translated means "Law of the Fist"
Feint A move to trick your opponent into committing to block your phoney attack.
Jitsu (J) Translated means "The techniques of"
Sensei (J) Instructor, teacher.
Shaolin (C) The greatest of the temple boxing systems. Translated it means "Small Forest". Famous temple in Northern China (Hunan Provence) where Bodidharma first taught monks forms and movements in a system of martial arts. Northern styles of Shaolin Ch'uan Fa are hard/external/linear, while southern styles are known more for soft/internal/circular and flashy movements. Many other systems are based on this system.
